Depends on what state. I don't think you do in WA. I know you need E&O insurance.

Also, you' better check into errors and omissions insurance.

If you must ask questions like this, you're not ready to become an ins broker.

It's going to depend on your state, but most of the time, no.

The big problems are 1. getting licensing (minor problem) and 2. getting carriers willing to let you sell their insurance (major problem).

If you have no experience, you're not likely to find a company willing to let you sell their insurance.

But if you do, you WILL need an errors and om missions policy and general liability, before they sign the contract with you.
