My husband is going to get dental insurance really soon. When I was 16 I had my two front teeth knocked out. Pretty close to the nerve, but I didn't have to have them pulled. Instead they did the resin bonding. I was told that I would need a crown when I got older.

Now I'm 24 and I've never had them replaced. Will dental insurance cover them? They are sore sometimes... especially my left one.

very few dental insurance plans will cover all or part of the cost. Only a few with high premiums will do so. Most will say this is cosmetic dentistry and they won't pay. Others will call this a Prue-existing condition and will not pay. If you are having some pain, they should be x-ray ed to make sure the roots are not fractured or the nerve is dead and the tooth infected, which would require a root canal. Good luck
