I would like to know if this a really difficult exam to pass, and does this career really pay well? I live in the Dallas,Tx area

In most states, yes, it is a very challenging exam, requiring about a week and a half of solid classes, before you can even take the exam. The exam itself is very, very tough, and will require lots more preparation, in addition to the class.As a career, incomes can vary a lot, depending on the job.
