They're both brand new, unrated (by am best) startup companies.If you're thinking about using them for your homeowners policy, I'd think really, really hard about it. I don't know about their financials, but most of the new startup homeowners carriers have reserves to cover about 500 houses - that's IT.You're safer with Citizens - it might take 9 months to get your claim check, but at least you know you'll get it. And if you're one of the lucky ones that still has an Allstate or State Farm or other A rated carrier, KEEP THAT POLICY.The two carriers you've asked about are too new to have ANY track record. Which is a scarey thing, IMO.
