Take practice exams. You have to pass the practice exams, in order to pass the real one. When you miss a question, know not just why the right one is right, but why the wrong one is wrong.Read the questions carefully. Read all the answers. Eliminate the most wrong answers first, so that theoretically, in the end, you're left with the most right answer.Read the book. Do the practice exams. Ask questions when you don't understand something.

I just took my exam in IA and passed it the first try. I think the only reason I passed it the first time was because I was an adjuster about 5 years ago . It was hard! I am a licensed Realtor and that test was hard too. Make sure you know the book you are studying from in and out. Know all the insurance terms. Know the laws really well. Know whats in the Dec Pages, the Insuring Agreement etc etc. Know all the coverages. AD Banker does two day test prep classes that somewhat help. See if they have one in your area. Go to monster.com , they have salary charts. If you dont pass the first time, dont panic, not alot of people do. I made flash cards that really helped. Take all of the quizzes and tests in the book until you memorize the answers!Good Luck.

Kaplan financial insurance training offers cds that give you practice exam questions. I used these and passed my P&C Life, Health and several security exams first time. It give you a chance to test in the format that the test will be delivered to you and help you understand what you don't and where to spend you extra studying time. Good Luck

Call the school you went to and ask if they have a prep class. Most do and it really helps.

You can go to a website called ucanpass.com. It is an online study website for life insurance P&C, and Securities (Series 6, 63). I paid $50 bucks for the life, accident&health as well as the P&C course. the securities I believe was $65, something like that. It's good website for self study. It is very economical in comparison to some other courses. Good pass rate as well. Ultimately it depend on your study techniques and habits.Lots of luck to ya!.
