Default Why are bicycles not licenced nor needing insurance ?

After all, they are considered vehicles and must follow and obey traffic laws, so why not make them act like the other vehicles, license and insurance. It might also cut down on crime by deterring bicycle theft. Perhaps promoting safer cycling operators. ------

I think it only happen in USA. Other country like China, bicycles are licensed and need to paid fee every year.Bicycle user in Asia country required to follow the same traffic law as a car, otherwise,he facing charges and fine. USA has no law on bicycle.

I don't drive a car I ride a bicycle to shops and my feel get sore from walking about 10 miles a day at my job as a cleaner. My shoes are holey and i need to buy new shoes but when I get home from work I refuse to pedal to a place where I can buy things.Meanwhile my bank account balance just gets bigger. I am too busy and I keep on wondering why am I always given money.I pay and have paid $105 a week for almost ten years. and I am happy. I do not have health insurance nor any kind of insurance policy. I live very simply and I am so happy for this.
