Can I get short term disability insurance following a surgery?

Default Can I get short term disability insurance following a surgery?
I have plans to get short term disability insurance this week but I had a simple procedure last week. In worst case cenario, if I get complications from my surgery will my policy cover it?

Contact your insurance company. Unless we see your policy, we can't answer your question.
