Judging by the readers answers to your question " who really knows " But I believe and if you have read the answers, if your prepared to fight them and persist you will get somewhere in the end. Insurance Companies are there to make profit so they will obviously try and dump you have no doubt about it whoever they are. Don,t give up after one answer and put your requests in writing very important.

I just called Admiral, as my car is stranded in a car park with water damage. I am fully comprehensive.

They were very help full, arranged to get car picked up by garage and checked over. Will either get repaired or if not cost effective then will write off.

Just hope for THEIR sake that they payout!!

Default Car insurance covers flood if:

your vehicle is covered under flood insurance if you have full comprehensive coverage. Most folks carry this type of coverage when its an newer car and / or if the car is stll been financed by a financial institution. btw 'acts of god" are covered, like floods, forrest fires, lightning, hail, etc.. under same "vehicle coverage" comprehensive.

I thinks other than primary damage all other damage might get covered in it.

Most insurance companies will pay but it depends whether they have "Act Of God" in their clause or not, if its present then forget about insurance claim.

I think it totally depends on your insurance cover or insurance companies.
