Default Help on Health Insurance?

I've been trying to get a therapist, but they all say they won't take Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Why is that?

Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask them how you find a therapist that will take their plan. They'll have a list.

~~Many providers are dropping them because of the very low contractual payment amount.~~

It's because they don't take Blue Cross Blue Shield. You need to call the number on the back of your insurance card, and ask THEM for the number of therapists that are "in network" and taking new patients.

Keep in mind, the therapists with the SHORTEST wait times, don't take ANY insurance.
