I don't know what a good combination of all the options are, and would like to get some personal opinions on what to do...other than from people who sellelLLllstuff for a living. Not sure that advice would be for myyyy best I'm 23 female about to graduate. Know any companys or plan that would fit a tight budget but still neep me safe? Thanks ahead!

There's no "bargain" out there, except maybe the plan through your school (although most of the time those are pretty limited).

You get what you pay for.

A good combination heavily depends on your personal situation.

You need to sit down and go over your options in YOUR state, with a local health insurance broker. They can help you weigh coverages and costs to find something you can afford.

Unfortunately in your situation you really need a insurance broker "who sells the stuff" to help you understand and buy the right policy. They will sit down, ask you questions on your health/budget etc and then explain to you what your options are. Sometimes that insurance broker can be "priceless" since if you have a question, they can try and explain it to where it makes sense.

For health insurance, buying on line is worthless since many times people will buy based on cost and not till AFTER find out that it may not cover you for certain things or be EXCLUDED.

Check with your university to see if they have any plans, and if not, then call up a insurance agent.

good luck

Many colleges have policies available. There are some companies that have student policies.

Unless you want to spend days studying health insurance, a person that sells the stuff for all the companies in your area would be the best person to tell you about the different policies. They also know which companies will accept you if you have Prue-existing conditions or are out of the height and weight guidelines of each company.

If you are about to graduate maybe a short term medical plan will be best, depending upon what your chances are in obtaining employment with a company that provides insurance.

I know a company or plan that would fit in one state. I know another that would fit in another state. There is none that would fit in all 50 states. There is probably not even one that would fit in 5 or 10 states. If you want one that fits your budget in your state, then you need to post this question again, with the name of the state. Otherwise, whatever we suggest will probably be for one of the other 49 states, not your state.
