Default What happens if you get injured or sick and lost health insurance in USA?

Say you worked for like 20 years you quit they dropped coverage plan on you

basically you paid into a ton of health insurance and than you suddenly get sick when you don't have a health plan

what basically is gonna happen to you will the doctor be like uh wheres insurance can you please so we can get paying customers

whats gonna happen to these people

will they possibly just die with republicans in power?

People all over the US that are broke get treated for all sorts of things from colds to cancer and heart disease at no charge DAILY.

Stop it with the BS lies about how people will die because the GOP wants then to.

Robert C is LYING.

45 thousand Americans are dying annually because of lack of health insurance.

You will get treatment, but the rest of us who have health care insurance will end up paying for it.

Pay cash in a payment plan. And a lot of people will just not go for preventative care.

Republicans believe that only Americans of means should have access to health care. The rest of us get medical bankruptcies...

well, you can buy personal health insurance.

Why should your employer have to pay insurance for you after you are not an employee?

Your car insurance that you paid a ton for will not cover you after you quit paying on it.

Talk about a straw man argument

@Allister, yes the ER will treat you, but you will also get charged for it.
If someone has real medical problems, heart disease, cancer, etc, and they have no insurance they are in real trouble, it happens all the time.
Thank God we have insurance. Hubby went to the hospital and had to have an MRI done. Because they screwed up when they sent the bill to the insurance comp, we got the bill for over $5,000.00. Luckily it is all worked out and we do not have to pay all of it, but what if we did not have insurance? That was just for an MRI!
