Default Claiming an iphone 3g on home insurance?

Am i likely to receive another 3g, or will i get a newer model due to the unavailability of this older model?.
If anyone knows how much money i would be likely to receive thought insurance? that would earn you a best answer

You will get the equivalent value for your existing phone (less wear and tear) assuming you don't have a new for old insurance policy

If they can't get you the original, you will get a phone of a similar level. It won't be an phone4 because you are only insured 'like for like' not 'better than'.

I would doubt that your Iphone is valued much, if any, above the policy excess.

You will get a refurbished phone 3G as there are a lot of them available ,in fact you can still buy new 3G phones from AT&T for $49 with as 2 yr plan.

Default Claiming iPhone 3G

Legally according to the insurance rules you have the right to obtain the same price iPhone in that case.

The terms and conditions of the insurance must have the rules for such conditions but I think that It would be claimable but of the same level or price product.
