LIfe insurance covers ONE person. There is ONE person on the insurance.
And it's silly to pay MONTHLY, in most cases - adding a $10 to $15 a month installment charge, can more than double the cost of your insurance over the course of a year.
How much *I* pay is going to be completely irrelevant to you, unless you're the same age I was when I took it out, with the same medical conditions, in the same weight range, in the same state, with the same coverage limit.
If' you're 30, perfectly healthy, not overweight or underweight, nonsmoker, you can buy a 20 year term policy, guaranteed renewable and convert able, $250,000 for about $200 a year. OR, you can buy that $250,000 as a whole life policy, for about $150 a month. If you're not 30, or you smoke, or you have ANY medical issues, or depending on which STATE you live in, or how much COVERAGE you want, those numbers are wildly subject to change.
